Regional Vice for Chapter Development/Assistance
Heather Drake
Past AGA leadership positions include serving as Chapter Secretary for the Greater Columbus Chapter during 2005-2007. In Heather's current AGA position, she serves as the Ohio-Michigan Regional Coordinator for Chapter Development and Assistance and as the Greater Columbus Chapter Treasurer for 2008-2009.
Heather's current DFAS position involves serving as a systems accountant in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Management Office (PMO) for the Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and team lead for Accounts Maintenance & Control (AM&C). Duties involve providing QA/QC oversight and technical assistance to Accounting Operations personnel to ensure the accomplishment of LMP implementation. This includes working closely with the various Army commands and external systems support customers.
Prior work assignments included Departmental Treasury Reporting where she managed the budget clearing accounts for the various military services, including Defense Agencies, Army and the Air Force Departmental transfer from DFAS Denver to DFAS Columbus. Other areas previously assigned include the Quality and Expenditures Branch, Audit Support, Vendor Pay and the Strategic Business Management Office.
Heather is currently enrolled at Ashland University pursuing a Masters Degree with a concentration in Project Management. As an active member of AGA, Heather's goals are to stay committed to the local AGA Greater Columbus Chapter and continue to take on new challenges that will further enhance her leadership capabilities.
