Jason Demeade
Jason K. Denmeade served in the U.S. Navy for seven years, which included four years as a shipboard accountant (Ship Serviceman) and three years as a military police officer (Master-at-Arms). Jason earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) designation onboard the USS Independence CV62 and is a Persian Gulf Veteran. His travels in the Navy include Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Cuba, Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Curacao, Barbados, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iran and Iraq.
Jason has been employed by Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) since September 2000 and is a Systems Accountant with Navy ERP (Strategic Business Management, Financial Management Center of Excellence). He has been a member of AGA since 2002 serving as Program Chair, Chapter President-Elect and Chapter President for two terms. He is also the Treasurer for the A. J. Celebrezze Federal Building Health Improvement Center. Jason holds a Bachelors' degree in Corporate Management from Myers University and an Associates' degree in Accounting from Cuyahoga Community College. He is a Certified Lean 6 Green Belt and is currently working towards earning the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
In addition to his career at DFAS, he is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and owns a personal training business, D & D Fitness, Inc. with his wife Frankie. He is also a Youth Leader at Everlasting Baptist Church serving a young men's ministry. His hobbies include watching movies, kickboxing, running and weightlifting. Jason was married on July 2nd, 2006 to Frankie and has two step-children, Lauren and Malcolm.
